Supervising Editor of CNN.com

After 10 years in publishing, Fiona Conboy joined the MA in Multi-Media Journalism course at Bournemouth University in 1999. She says that the course provided her with enough practical training to get her a job on the Hong Kong desk of Agence France Presse. She worked as a desk editor there for a year before an opportunity arose to help launch the Asian edition of CNN.com.

Two years later there was a merger with the European edition and Fiona was promoted to Supervising Editor for CNN.com International, still in Hong Kong, responsible for managing all the output.
