BJTC students offered master-class access

University of Kent opens door to top journalists talking

The Kent Centre for Journalism, based at the University of Kent, has offered all BJTC students the chance to watch some of the UK's top journalists talking about their trade.

They've filmed master-classes by such as Michael Crick, Political Editor of BBC Newsnight and Allan Little, BBC Special Correspondent .

Crick's session is particularly interesting since he's talking about what he sees as the failure of UK political journalists to pick up on MP's misuse of their expenses before the Daily Telegraph broke the story.

The films were produced by Ian Reeves, Diretor of Learning and Teaching at the Centre in Chatham and filmed by Richard Parry, Lecturer in Broadcast Journalism and some of his students.
