Broadcast Journcalism Training Council

Quick Navigation

Broadcast related imageBJTC accredited courses are very much valued by teachers and students, employers and employees, because our standards are based on direct practical experience. There are many benefits of accreditation – exclusive deals on work placements and industry-standard equipment, sponsorship and involvement in teaching by senior editorial figures from all sides of the industry.

So, if one of your courses in Radio, TV/Video or On-line Journalism is in need of validation that is recognised by the broadcasting industry, it will be required to reach minimum BJTC delivery standards. Our guidelines are common to all types of courses, however, the way in which they are applied by BJTC will depend on the type of course being accredited.

All our accreditors are vastly experienced and committed to maintaining and improving standards in Broadcast Journalism throughout the UK.

For information on how your organisation or course could become BJTC Accredited, download our Accreditation Criteria and Procedures pack.
